Hold the charging connector handle while connecting or removing the charging cable

Tap the charging door firmly or remove the ice, if unable to open due to freezing weather

Set up a charging schedule for the vehicle using the Infotainment system or Kia Connect application

Completely close the charging door once charging is complete

Use DC Charger sparingly to extend battery life

Replace damaged charging cables immediately

Charge immediately if the battery warning light is ON

Never put metal in the connector or charging hole to avoid electric shock

Avoid connecting without checking for foreign substances in the socket

Don't touch the cooling fan while charging

Avoid washing the car while charging or with the hatch open

Don't use an extension box or adapter with the portable charger

Stop charging if you detect abnormal smells or smoke
