(Bangkok) 2nd August 2024 – Kia Sales (Thailand) energizes the positioning of its all-electric versatile mid-size SUV, “The Kia EV5”, through an exciting marketing campaign entitled ‘Make A Bold Move’, featuring the multi-talented artist ‘Jeff Satur’ as the official presenter for the Kia EV5. Targeting millennials and modern families, the key message amplifies the greatness to strive for change in your life and be bold in your decisions to become who you truly want to be. The campaign underlines that if you are not bold, the star in you is never born. To bring this message ‘Make A Bold Move’ to life, the campaign is also revealing an exclusive song “Make A Bold Move” whose melody and lyrics are inspired, interpreted, composed and rearranged by Jeff himself.

In March, Kia Sales (Thailand) welcomed over 1,500 participants to our first immersive brand launch experience and surprised them, not only with our EV flagship launch - The Kia EV9 - but also with the surprising unveil moment of The Kia EV5. Throughout our activations at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show, our Kia EV Playground, our Kia eXperience Roadshows and all activations implemented by our Dealers’ partners, we are very happy to welcome more than 1,500 new customers to the Kia family.”

We thought that Jeff would be the perfect icon to symbolize our campaign and convey our message to a new generation of people who “goes bold” for change and who dares to go beyond. As The Kia EV5 presenter, “Jeff Satur” said “I am extremely honored to have worked with Kia Sales (Thailand) as the presenter of The Kia EV5. In terms of the Make A Bold Move campaign, I have an opportunity to create a special song after Kia said they would love to have a song that inspires ‘courage’ for everyone to get up and do something new or create certain changes towards what they really want to be. For myself, I once came across this particular moment when the path ahead turned dark. I only knew I had gone around in circles because I didn’t get to do what I really like. Until one day I reached the point where I needed to ‘be bold’ Otherwise, there would be no progress. In the end, the courage takes me beyond imagination. This is the message in the song. I would like to tell everyone that they just need to get out and do it. Make a bold move without fear and your courage will take you somewhere for sure — somewhere new — because without such a bold move, you won’t be transformed. So stay tuned! The highlight is a special song titled Make A Bold Move whose lyrics and melody are composed and re-arranged by Jeff Satur himself. Exciting activities with the presence of Jeff Satur will also be hosted all through 2024 including the simulation of Jeff’s music studio at CentralWorld from 28th August to 11th September, plus an exclusive concert for his fans and The Kia EV5 owners in October 2024.
