Kia commercial vehicles (ICE/HEV/PHEV) are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for 3-year/100,000 km factory warranty. Upon expiry, Cycle & Carriage undertakes another 2-year warranty, stretching it to a total of 5 years/100,000 km (whichever comes first) from date of registration.
Kia passenger vehicles (ICE/HEV/PHEV) comes with 5-year engine warranty from factory. Upon expiry of the factory warranty at the end of 5th year, Cycle & Carriage undertakes another 5 years of warranty, stretching it to a total of 10 years/200,000 km (whichever comes first) from date of registration.
The vehicle’s lithium-ion polymer hybrid battery (excluding Niro 12V LIPB) is covered under factory’s 5-year unlimited warranty. Upon expiry, Cycle & Carriage undertakes another 5 years warranty, stretching it to a total of 10 years/200,000 km (whichever comes first) from date of registration.
Contractual Warranty
Repair or replacement of parts acknowledged as faulty by the Manufacturer, as well as the labour necessary to repair the vehicle. Towing for immobilised vehicle within Singapore is covered.
Anti-perforation
Up to 5 years for passenger cars from the date of registration, subject to an annual inspection by Cycle & Carriage.
Battery (including Niro 12 V LIPB)
1-year with unlimited mileage from the date of vehicle registration.
Genuine Parts
All genuine parts (exclude wear and tear) replacement and repairs sold by Cycle & Carriage come with a 2-year or 40,000 km warranty, whichever comes first. Genuine parts always come with warranty, unlike non-genuine parts.
Paintwork
Original bodywork paint or lacquer defect.
Audio / AVN
Audio / AVN unit are covered under a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty, whichever comes first, from the date of registration.
Accessories
Accessories fitted locally such as in-car camera, reverse sensor and GPS system are covered under warranty for 1 year.
Consumables
Consumables are normal maintenance items which require periodic replacement from motoring wear and tear. They include:

Warranty Conditions
Maintenance and repairs on your vehicle in Singapore must be carried out in accordance with the prescription laid down by Kia Motors Corporation (the Manufacturer). It is strongly advised that such operations are to be performed by qualified specialist workshops such as Cycle & Carriage.
Failure to comply with the recommended maintenance schedule may invalidate this vehicle warranty. You must provide proof of maintenance records, invoices, etc.
Your vehicle warranty does not cover damages or malfunctions caused directly or indirectly by:
Kia does not manufacture LPG compatible engines for vehicles imported to Singapore. Therefore, Kia advises that LPG should not be used in its range of petrol vehicles. The use of LPG in an engine not specifically designed for use with this type of fuel may lead to excessive wear, drivability concerns and engine management issues.
If a LPG system is fitted to a Kia engine/vehicle, the Kia vehicle warranty does not apply to the LPG system nor to any conditions/defects that are attributable to the LPG system installation or to operation of the engine using LPG. Refer to the previous question - ‘Will my warranty be affected if I have the vehicle modified?’
The 12 V auxiliary battery on Kia vehicle is covered for 1 year (unlimited mileage) from the vehicle registration date.
The original High Voltage (HV) Lithium-Ion Polymer Battery (“EV Battery”) Capacity coverage warranty period is 10 years or 200,000 km, whichever comes first. Please refer to the warranty terms and conditions for full details.
