The basic warranty period for commercial vehicles

Warranty period for small cargo vehicles (K 4000) is 24 months or 50,000 km, whichever comes first as of the date of issuing the purchase invoice.

Parts Warranty

Specified items have a warranty period that differs from the basic vehicle warranty.

The battery

The vehicle battery is covered by the warranty for manufacturing defects for 12 months as of the date of issuing the purchase invoice.

Audio System

The original equipment audio and its all related parts (including Video Systems) are covered for 36 months from the Date of First Service or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.

Refilling the cooling gas system

Refilling of cooling system gas is warranted for 12 months as of the date of issuance of purchase invoice.

Tires

Kia vehicle tires are under the tire manufacturer's warranty. For defects in the original tires, contact the tire manufacturer, their dealer, or reach out to Kia's distributor.

Consumables

Items that are consumed by normal use, like timing belts, bulbs, fuses, wipers, brakes, filters, clutch discs, and spark plugs, are covered by a 12-month or 20,000 km warranty, whichever comes first, from the vehicle purchase date, against any manufacturing defects.

  • You may take your Kia to your Authorized Kia Dealer for warranty and service. Visit our website at www.kia.com/nmc or contact our customer service at 920034888.
  • Regular maintenance service
    Including checking, screwing, adjustment of the engine, adjustment of fuel injection system, tire balancing, lubrication, transmission oil, change the engine oil, brake fluid, oil of gears system, steering wheel Oil, water and acid of the battery, antifreezing, glass cleaning liquid, cooling system gas, tire changing.
    Engine Oil : Kia Recommends "Total 5W30" To be changed every 10,000 km or 6 Months whichever comes first.

      Natural consumption and corrosion for example
    • Spark plugs

    • Front and rear brake pads

    • The clutch and its parts

    • Plastic of wipers

    • Filters.

    • Lights, Fuses (Circuit Breakers)

    • Belts

    • Any other consumable parts.
      Regular maintenance parts (consumables) are covered by the warranty and are replaced in the event of a defect in materials or manufacturing.


    • Damages and losses not covered by the warranty for example
    • Neglect in the proper maintenance procedures as stated in the owner's manual.

    • Misuse, overload, accident, theft, actions of flood or fires.

    • Use of unsuitable fuel, liquids or oils that do not conform to the recommended specifications.

    • The use of non-original parts.

    • Any device or accessories not supplied by Kia.

    • Modifications, damages, manipulation, tampering or improper repair.

    • Damage to rubber parts under normal conditions of use or exposure to the sun.

    • Minor not detectable impurities that do not affect the quality or performance of the vehicle or its parts, such as weak sounds, vibration that is part of the vehicle’s character.

  • Kia Parts and Accessories installed at the time of a retail sale of a new motor vehicle are covered by the Kia New Vehicle Warranty applicable to your vehicle, depending on the vehicle’s use. If accessories are installed by an Authorized Kia Dealer after the retail sale, they will be covered for the remainder of the Kia New Vehicle Warranty period or for 1 year, whichever is the greater. In the case where a replacement part is installed under the Kia New Vehicle Warranty during the vehicle’s warranty period, the part is covered for the remainder of the Kia New Vehicle Warranty period only. Kia replacement parts and accessories that are not installed by an Authorized Kia Dealer are covered by Parts and Accessory Warranty for 1 year or 20,000 km’s, whichever occurs first.
  • The Kia New Vehicle Warranty will continue to apply to vehicles that may have been modified. However, Kia does not warrant the workmanship of, nor any part, component, assembly, equipment, or accessory that has not been supplied by and approved by Kia for the specified purpose. Should any defect be caused by or be attributable to any modification not carried out at the direction of Kia NMC, the Kia New Vehicle Warranty will not cover any part, component, assembly, equipment or accessory used in the modification, nor any part, component, assembly, equipment or accessory that has been damaged due to a failure which is attributable to the modification.
  • If a component covered by the Kia New Vehicle Warranty fails as a result of poor workmanship or materials, rendering the vehicle immobile or undriveable, the cost of towing to the nearest Authorized Kia Dealer is generally covered under warranty. It is recommended that you contact your nearest Authorized Kia Dealer (NMC) or call Kia Customer Service at 920034888 for guidance regarding warranty coverage prior to arranging towing. For vehicles eligible for Kia roadside assist, call 920003922 for assistance.
  • Kia does not manufacture LPG compatible engines for vehicles imported to NMC. Therefore, Kia advises that LPG should not be used in its range of gasoline vehicles. The use of LPG in an engine not specifically designed for use with this type of fuel may lead to excessive wear, drivability concerns and engine management issues.

    If a LPG system is fitted to a Kia engine/vehicle, the Kia New Vehicle Warranty does not apply to the LPG system nor to any conditions/defects that are attributable to the LPG system installation or to operation of the engine using LPG. Refer to the previous question – “Will my warranty be affected if I have the vehicle modified?”

  • Repairs or maintenance services carried out by NMC Trading Company as well as spare parts replaced, at the expenses of the customer, at the maintenance centers affiliated to it, provided to be described in the relevant invoices issued by the company and signed by the authorized persons, shall be warranted for a period of one year as of the date of service or 20,000 thousand kilometers, whichever is earlier, unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • The battery on Kia Vehicles is covered for 12 months from the first service date despite kilometers usage.
  • Parts and labour used in carrying out repairs covered by the Kia New Vehicle Warranty and conducted at an Authorized Kia are covered under Kia New Vehicle Warranty.
  • In the unlikely event that you should suffer a breakdown as a result of a defect which is covered by the Kia New Vehicle Warranty and the vehicle cannot be driven (or cannot be driven safely) & if your vehicle is eligible for roadside assistance, you should contact the nearest Authorized Kia Dealer (NMC) to arrange for transportation of your vehicle.
