How to break windows and escape from a vehicle

In case of a vehicle accident that could cause the car to fall into water or become damaged due to a collision, the vehicle doors may become difficult to open. Follow these steps to safely exit the vehicle:

  1. 01If the vehicle doors and windows cannot be opened, use a hard object to break the side windows and escape.
  2. 02If you do not have any tools such as a hammer, use the headrest pole to break the window. Press the release button and remove the headrest from the seat.

  1. 03Hit the edge of the side window hard with the headrest pole.
  2. 04Once the window is broken, carefully remove the remaining pieces of glass with the headrest frame and escape safely.

Cautions

  • Avoid breaking the windshield, sunroof, and rear window, as they are not easily breakable. Focus on breaking the side windows.
  • Be careful of the sharp edges of the broken glass, as there is a risk of injury.
