What is Kia Seltos HUD and how does it work?

“Kia Seltos HUD projects an image equivalent to an 8-inch screen onto the windshield, providing you all the information you need without looking away from the road.”

A Head-up Display (HUD) is a transparent display that projects information of the instrument cluster and navigation onto the windshield.

 

The Seltos HUD projects an image equivalent to an 8-inch screen onto the windshield, offering information like speed, remaining distance to empty, cruise control setting, and DRIVE WiSE technology data, without the driver having to look away from the road.

 

Press on the screen operation switch on the left side of the lower part of your crash pad to reveal the hidden screen; and press again to restore the screen its original hidden position.

 

Information displayable on Kia Seltos HUD includes:

  • Turn-by-Turn navigation information
  • Road signs
  • Speedometer
  • Cruise setting speed
  • Warning lights (low fuel)
  • AV mode information
