Sleek yet striking, with a unique double cowl bonnet to emphasise the signature tigerface front and Heartbeat Daytime Running Lights, the all-new Kia Niro’s exterior styling is guaranteed to turn heads. Admire the sense of uniqueness with the combined matt and gloss highlighted two-tone front grille. With its hexagonal pattern, it says futuristic and high-tech from every angle. Complemented by a powerful lower cladding design for an extra-wide look, with an integrated central charging point.
Designed around a simple character line with bold CUV styling, the side profile of the all-new Kia Niro features unique body cladding that conveys a distinctive impression. This is combined with a high-tech two-tone colour body with High Glossy or Steel Gray cladding and a stylish Aero C-Pillar at the rear to enhance airflow and aerodynamics.
Bold and stylish: At the back, a simple and beautiful design concept incorporates Boomerang-style taillights, a Heartbeat reflector, rugged skid plate, and strong but simple lower bumper. Created exclusively for the all-new Niro EV, the custom alloy 17-inch wheels have a 5-petal design and feature a two-colour finish with black accents. Meanwhile, the Plug-In Hybrid features specially designed 18-inch alloy wheels.

Depending on the trim level you choose, seat material is available in cloth, cloth-artificial leather combination, PVC artificial leather or PU artificial leather, which are both vegan. The PU vegan leather seats also contain Tencel™ made from eucalyptus wood for a more natural feel.

Kia Niro Plug-In Hybrid
The Kia Niro electrified family also offers a suite of DriveWise Advanced Driver Assistance Systems that makes passenger and pedestrian safety paramount. How? By helping the driver to stay focused and informed at the wheel, watching out for potential hazards, alerting the driver and intervening when necessary. Making way for the real joys of driving.
Designed for effortless driving on motorways, HDA automatically maintains the Niro’s distance to another vehicle in front as well as keeping it centred in its current lane on the highway. At the same time, it controls steering, acceleration and deceleration whilst you are in-lane.
Evaluating both camera and radar data from your Niro, the system analyses information about other cars, pedestrians or cyclists crossing the road to avoid a potential collision with them. FCA 1.5 also functions to prevent collisions with vehicles when turning at a junction or making a left turn at an intersection. If it detects a potential collision, a warning signal appears on your instrument cluster and maximum braking power is applied. For the Niro EV the FCA 2.0 would also engage when you are crossing the intersection.7
This system provides audible and visual warning of any vehicles in your blind spot area, and actively controls the vehicle to help avoid a collision. Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) provides the same assistance while in reverse, if vehicles are approaching from the left or right.
NSCC maintains your specified set speed and ensures a safe distance to the vehicle ahead by controlling acceleration and deceleration. It also auto-decelerates your speed on any curvature based on road information provided by the navigation system.

Incredibly convenient: Thanks to its Vehicle-to-Device (V2D) functionality, the Kia Niro EV becomes your portable energy source wherever you are. When fully charged it offers up to 3KW of power. Enabling you to charge other devices inside or outside your car – like electrical devices when out camping, a vacuum when cleaning the car, or an e-bike or laptop.
Always in the most comfortable position, at the touch of a button: The special “Relaxion” front passenger seat can recline to a wide range of different lying posture settings. Minimising fatigue and maximising comfort, especially on longer journeys.
Thanks to its longer and wider proportions and wheelbase, the all-new Kia Niro offers a whole new dimension in space and cargo storage. With extra-special solutions such as front trunk "Frunk" storage under the bonnet - with 20 litres of storage space for the EV: that’s perfect for all sorts of items, including the charging cable. Whenever you need to accommodate even bigger items, the rear seats also fold down for up to 1,445 litres of storage capacity, depending on which Niro model you choose.

Kia high voltage lithium ion battery-units in electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) are built to have a long life. These batteries are covered by the KIA warranty for a period of 7 years from initial registration or 150,000 km, whichever comes first. For low voltage batteries (48V and 12V) in mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV), the Kia warranty covers a period of 2 years from initial registration regardless of mileage. For EVs and PHEVs only, Kia guarantees a 70% capacity of the battery. Capacity reduction of the battery in HEV and MHEV is not covered by the warranty.
