In 1996, Kia Motors Corporation from South Korea appointed Grand Motors Sdn Bhd as the exclusive distributor of Kia vehicles in Brunei Darussalam. Although the company started with only two models in their vehicle lineup - a sedan and a 4-wheel drive vehicle, it eventually expanded its roster over the years. With this new venture, the company was able to capture different segments by providing a wider range of models to cater to the market’s needs.
