GWS GIANTS JOINS KIA'S SPORTING FAMILY

15 / 11 / 2018

Kia Australia has today signed on for a 3-year stint with the GWS Giants as the Official Vehicle Partner of the AFL club.

Kia Australia’s Chief Operating Office Damien Meredith said the new agreement was a benefit and strong endorsement for both brands.

“To be partnering with the Giants is an exciting and invigorating opportunity for Kia Australia. To a degree, we are both newcomers in our respective fields and both are challenger entities which have already proven not to be out of place in the big game. We look forward to a successful ongoing relationship.”

Like the Giants, Western Sydney is home for Kia in Australia with 25 of their 141 Australian dealers based in the Western Sydney region.

“We couldn’t be happier to welcome Kia Australia to the GIANTS family. The Giants and Kia both share similar values and a strong focus on families, especially in the Western Sydney region.”

Giants Chief Executive

David Matthews

“Kia has expressed a desire to help the Giants continue to grow and to have their support across both our AFL and AFLW programs ideally complements our existing partnerships.” said Mr Matthews. “To add one of the world’s biggest and most respected car manufacturers to our suite of corporate partners demonstrates the strong reputation the Giants have built in a short space of time.”

Giants members will benefit from the partnership with a range of vehicle specials to be offered across the Giants membership program.

The Giants are the latest addition to Kia’s sporting family with the Australian Open Tennis, Australian Turf Club and the Canterbury Bulldogs already in partnership with the South Korean company.

The whole new levels of peace of mind
At speeds of 20 km/h or higher, BCW alerts you if a vehicle enters your blind spot, even when you are in the process of changing lanes. LED warnings flash on the door mirror and an audio warning is emitted when you signal to make a lane change.
