Operating throughout L.A. county, EnableLA will provide on-demand transportation services for people with disabilities or mobility challenges. Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride SUVs have been modified to accommodate wheelchair access in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and are equipped with UV-free antimicrobial lights for improved sanitation.
EnableLA strives to increase the quantity and quality of accessible transportation services for people with special needs by prioritizing safety and comfort.
This service is powered by ButterFLi, an LA-based platform provider for people with accessibility challenges. Within the platform, users can book rides with a specially trained aid driver, either on-demand or in advance, weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.1
The Future of Accessibility
Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride SUVs have been modified to accommodate wheelchair access.
The vehicles have been modified in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, are equipped with UV-free antimicrobial lights for improved sanitation, and are operated by specially trained aid drivers for added peace of mind.
