Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go
Cruise effortlessly by maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle directly in front. SCC 5 aims to maintain the speed you specify. It computes the relative position and speed of the vehicle ahead using its front-view camera and front radar to keep a safe distance.
The system controls acceleration and deceleration to make sure your Kia Ceed stops when the other vehicle ahead stops. When the vehicle ahead starts moving again, you will automatically start moving too. Simple. -
Lane Following Assist (LFA)
Stay centred and on course in your lane. The LFA system uses the windshield camera in order to monitor lane markings or the leading vehicle to make sure your ProCeed remains in lane. Available for all models with a manual or automatic DCT gearbox.

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
Be warned every time there’s a vehicle in your blind spot — and get help if necessary. The BCA system uses its windshield camera and rear corner radars to monitor the relative position and speed of other vehicles to the side or in your blind-spot zone. If it identifies a potential collision with other vehicles, the system will activate visual and audible alarms, and may also automatically intervene to keep you in your current lane and avoid any potential collisions.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)
When reversing out of a parking space or driveway, the radar-based Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance system warns you — visually and audibly — about potential approaching traffic crossing your path. It will also engage to help you avoid a potential collision, if necessary.

Driver Attention Warning (DAW+)
Stay alert and on course. Our technology notices if you’re losing concentration by monitoring the pattern of the steering wheel, acceleration and overall length of the journey. If your attention level seems low, it alerts you both visually and audibly. DAW+ also features a leading vehicle departure warning system that will alert you if, for example, when in traffic, the car in front of you drives away and you don’t move.

The services are available free of charge for a period of seven years commencing on the day the vehicle is sold to the first owner of the vehicle, i.e. the point in time the initial purchase agreement becomes effective, and may be subject to change during that period. Details of operation and terms of use can be obtained on your vehicle’s head unit. Available On-Board Services might differ depending on your country. Smartphone with data plan required to activate Kia Connect Live Services services in countries and models without embedded telematics.
(2) Kia Connect App Services
Information and control service for your Kia from your smartphone; the Services are available free of charge for a period of seven years commencing on the day the vehicle is sold to the first owner of the vehicle, i.e. the point in time the initial purchase agreement becomes effective, and may be subject to change during that period. Details of operation and terms of use can be obtained on your Kia Connect App. Smartphone with iOS or Android operating system and mobile phone contract with data option necessary incurring additional cost.
(3) Clari-Fi™ technology
JBL® sound system comes with Clari-Fi™ technology. Digital information gets lost when compressing files into MP3. Clari-Fi™ technology helps to correct the lost high/low music tones and improves the music quality level.

(2) Over-the-Air updates
For new vehicles sold from May 2021, Kia offers, per vehicle, two free-of-charge updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software using the so-called “over-the-air” method (“OTA Updates”). Once the two free-of-charge OTA Updates have been consumed, you will be able to get updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software only (i) by accessing the following web page https://update.kia.com/EU/E1/Main or (ii) at a dealership.
