Kia’s European Production plant in Zilina, Slovakia currently produces the Ceed , Ceed Sportswagon, ProCeed and Sportage models with a capacity of over 300,000 vehicles per year.
The Zilina plant is one of the most technologically advanced car plants in Europe today. Quality is managed at every level and random cars are picked from the production line every day and examined from the roof to tyre tread.
The environment credentials of the European Factory has also earned the prestigious ISG 14001 international certificate of management award.
Testing
All Kia models undergo testing to ensure the highest possible car reliability in all conditions.
All our vehicles go through a lot of durability and reliability tests. They are exposed to high altitudes, sandstorms, congested city centres, alpine passes, and extreme weather material testing, making for the most reliable cars for our global customer base.
