Hugo drives the Niro EV through the serene coastline of our next destination, Marseille. A cosmopolitan city that is true to itself by embracing its flaws. This is the Marseillen charm that inspires artists every day.

As the soft breeze blows on a sunny day, Hugo meets our artist, Sarah Aka Rézine at her favorite coffee place. Rézine is an artist that creates “Modern Fossils” with resine and everyday objects that were valuable to someone in the past, with interesting patterns or simply things that are seen as “trash”.

Her art was picked by remarkable artists like Madonna, FKA Twigs and Rosalía, and Marseille is her inspiration.

“My main goal is to show how much beauty can be found in everyday objects, and to remind people that these items will endure forever and will outlast us.”

Hugo and Rézine drive the sleek and striking Niro EV to the next stop: Emmaus Point Rouge, a flea market where everyday objects inspire Rézine to give them a new, eternal life.

Loading endless options.

While Rézine goes to the “Le Bain des Dames” beach, Hugo stays behind to send some work emails. Vehicle to Load (V2L), allows him to connect the computer to the Niro EV through a socket to power up and sit outside the car, enjoying the sea breeze for a seamless working experience.

Inspired by Nature.

After finishing work, Hugo joins Rézine on the beach to see the stones, seashells and objects that she found on the golden lit beach. The plastic materials collected by her will end up in Rézine’s art pieces but could have also been used to build the Niro EV’s seats and roof lining that are engineered from textured, recycled materials.
