In general retailers are are open for servicing, MOT and parts sales where Government guidance allows.

We want to reassure you that Kia are always available via telephone, online chat service and email to help you with any new or used car enquiry.

We’ve made some changes to the Sales and vehicle handover process to ensure maximum safety for all. This includes complying at all times with the latest guidance for social distancing and hygiene, ensuring a 2m gap is maintained. Our showrooms now feature improved layouts and clear signage to ensure our customers feel safe. In order to manage the volume of showroom visitors we kindly ask customers to book an appointment prior to visiting. It is essential that servicing is carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements to maintain the integrity and reliability of your car. Your car should be serviced every 12 months* from the date of first registration or by mileage, whichever occurs soonest (mileage criteria varies by model/engine type). As a number of components and fluids must be replaced on a time basis, e.g. replacement every 2 years, it is important that your next service therefore aligns with the anniversary of the first date of registration again.
Accordingly, the next service due date for your car is set in accordance with the original schedule and not 12 months from the date that this delayed service was completed.
As well as the integrity and reliability of your car, this will also ensure that the manufacturer’s warranty is not affected by servicing requirements.

No, your Kia Care service plan will remain valid and cover the cost of your services regardless of when they are undertaken.

Your car should be maintained and serviced according to the manufacturer’s guidelines and recommendations to ensure your warranty remains intact. However, if there is a valid warranty claim on your car and the latest scheduled service has been delayed during UK Lockdown up to 31 July 2020, we will honour valid warranty claims. It is important you maintain your car regardless of servicing requirements. We recommend that you regularly check the following items:
• Engine oil level
• Coolant level
• Windscreen washer fluid level
• Tyre condition and pressures, including spare if fitted
• Exterior lights
Please refer to your owner’s manual for more information. If your service is delayed it is even more important that you regularly carry out the checks detailed above until the scheduled service is carried out, paying particular attention to the oil level.

Kia Roadside Assistance is operating for customers who have cover. This programme is run in partnership with the RAC. The UK Breakdown number is 0333 202 1827. Please note RAC policies and working practices apply during this period – you will be advised of any restrictions when contacting the Breakdown Service for assistance.

You can phone your local dealer or book your service online here . As you might expect, our teams are working through a backlog of servicing and working with new safety procedures, so you may have to book further ahead than usual.
