Yes, all Kia rental cars are insured, subject to satisfactory customer qualification.

Yes, you can add a driver to your rental car, as long as they satisfy our usual insurance qualifications. 

 

If you'd like to add another driver, please speak to a member of staff at the dealership you're using or contact our Kia Rental Reservations Team on 01908 419159.

Yes, someone else can return your rental car but only if they're a qualified additional on the rental agreement.

No, you must have a full, valid driver's license in order to rent a car for business or pleasure. 

Can you take rental cars abroad? Can you take rental cars abroad?

 

 

As a rule, yes, you can take rental cars abroad. However, this is subject to additional paperwork and additional costs, and is at the dealer's discretion, so may not be available at all Kia rental locations. If you wish to take your rental car abroad, please check first with your specific Kia dealer.

At the time of collection, we advise all hirers to report any damage or accidents via the Towergate First Call app. Using the app, you can report directly to the insurer, rental location and insurance broker.

Yes, drivers do pay VAT on rental cars. The breakdown of this should be included on your invoice.

Yes, you can drop your rental off early, but only during opening hours. Find your local Kia dealership to check their opening hours.

When you rent a car with Kia, please bring a valid driver's license and a credit or debit card in the hirer's name. We also need an additional ID, less than 3 months old, in the hirer's name to confirm the address. Please note that we don't accept mobile phone bills.

If you require a vehicle change for whatever reason, we may be able to accommodate you. However, this may be subject to additional charges if a larger group is required.

Yes, security deposits are taken for all bookings by a debit/credit card.   This is fully refundable on return provided the vehicle is in the same condition when returned.

Rentals must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at check-out.
