Kia Accessibility Standards & Guidelines | KIA Marshkiataunton
How this is achieved
Kia are committed to meeting WCAG 2.0 Level A. This includes considerations for many types of impairment, including the following examples:
All content and functionality can be accessed using a keyboard alone
All images have a screenreader-friendly text equivalent
All video has subtitles
The purpose of every link is clear
Any errors made when filling out forms are highlighted
All page titles are clear and helpful
For more information on what WCAG 2.0 Level A covers, see wuhcag.com’s WCAG 2.0 checklist level A.
For more information on what tools and techniques are available to make your browsing experience easier, see the BBC’s ‘My Web My Way’ guide.
How we are doing
WCAG 2.0 Level A is our minimum level, in many areas level A is exceeded.
In addition to keeping it in mind during design and development, we have also carried out extensive auditing, and included a number of people with various different types of impairments when testing the usability of the site
All current content should meet level A, but we are aware that there is some older low-traffic content that does not, for example older YouTube videos that are not subtitled.
