The new EV6 sets brand new standards in energy efficiency. With the V2L (vehicle-to-load) function, you can charge items like laptops and camping equipment via your car.
This technology helps to maintain a safe speed according to road conditions while driving on an expressway or highway. It automatically reduces the speed in sections of highways with tight curves, in order to keep the driver and passengers safe. And it resumes acceleration to pre-set levels thereafter.

HDA2 with HoD automatically adapts your target speed to meet the limit, while keeping you at a safe distance from the vehicles ahead. The upgraded hands-on detection sensors on the steering wheel detect whether you are touching it, even without movement. HDA 2.0 is even capable of changing lane automatically when you use the side indicator.

BCA warns you if there is a risk of collision with a rear side vehicle in the blind-spot while changing lanes. When forward exiting a parallel-parking spot, if there is a risk of collision with a vehicle approaching from behind, it automatically assists with emergency braking.
When you signal to make a left turn at an intersection, an alert will be issued if there’s a potential collision with a vehicle approaching from a neighboring lane. If the risk of collision increases even after you’ve been alerted, the system will automatically activate braking assistance. (Note: For vehicles with right-hand drive, the system provides assistance when turning right).

Whenever you’re driving straight across an intersection, you’ll be warned if the risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle from either the left or right is detected. And if this risk increases after the warning, braking assistance is activated.

If you’re changing lanes, you’ll receive a warning if the risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle is detected. And your steering is automatically assisted if this risk increases even after you’ve been warned.

When you switch lanes, an alert will be triggered if there’s a potential collision with a vehicle in the adjacent lane next to you or behind you in your blind spot. Kia high voltage lithium ion battery-units in electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) are built to have a long life. These batteries are covered by the Kia warranty for a period of 7 years from initial registration or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first (8 years/100,000 miles for EV models registered from 01/01/2024). For low voltage batteries (48V and 12V) in mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV), the Kia warranty covers a period of 2 years from initial registration regardless of mileage. For EVs and PHEVs only, Kia guarantees a 70% capacity of the battery. Capacity reduction for the battery in HEV and MHEV is not covered by the warranty.
