HDA 2 with HoD automatically adapts your target speed to meet the limit, while keeping you at a safe distance from the vehicles ahead. The upgraded hands-on detection sensors on the steering wheel detect whether you are touching it, even without movement. HDA 2 is even capable of changing lane automatically when you use the side indicator.
Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC)
This technology helps to maintain a safe speed according to road conditions while driving on an expressway or highway. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2.0 (FCA 2.0)
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2.0 gives you added peace of mind and helps you to avoid any potential collisions with pedestrians, cyclists and other cars on the road. If you are not applying the brakes hard enough to avoid a collision, your EV6 GT will do it automatically. This technology also helps you avoid collisions with an oncoming vehicle while turning at an intersection or crossing it.
FCA 2.0 – Lane Change Oncoming
If you’re changing lanes, you’ll receive a warning if the risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle is detected. And your steering is automatically assisted if this risk increases even after you’ve been warned.
FCA 2.0 – Lane Change Side and Evasive Steering
When you switch lanes, an alert will be triggered if there’s a potential collision with a vehicle in the adjacent lane next to you or behind you in your blind spot. Furthermore, if the collision risk escalates even after you’ve received the initial warning, your steering will be adjusted automatically to assist you.
Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
BCA warns you if there is a risk of collision with a rear side vehicle in the blind-spot while changing lanes. When forward exiting a parallel-parking spot, if there is a risk of collision with a vehicle approaching from behind, it automatically assists with emergency braking.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2.0 (FCA 2.0)
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2.0 gives you added peace of mind and helps you to avoid any potential collisions with pedestrians, cyclists and other cars on the road. (1) Maximum charging speed
In order to achieve the maximum charging speed, the EV6 GT must be charged at a High-Speed DC Charger that deliver at least 260 kW of electricity. The additionally added real-life range within 15 minutes is depending on different factors including the current state of the battery, battery temperature and the charger used. It is also defined by the individual driving style and energy consumption.
The actual charging speed and charging time depend on battery temperature and weather conditions.
Electricity consumption (kWh/100 km) combined is 20.9, CO2-Emission (g/km) combined is 0. Electricity consumption combined: [20.9] kWh/100 km; CO2-emissions combined: [0] g/km; CO2-class: [5]. The specified consumption and emission values were determined according to the legally prescribed measurement procedures (EU) 2017/1153. The above values have been tested in the Worldwide harmonized Light vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP); however, may not reflect real-world driving conditions. Actual energy consumption during driving may vary.
(2) Driving Range
The range was determined according to the standardised EU measurement procedure (WLTP) based on a 84.0 kWh battery pack, all-wheel drive, and 21" wheels. The individual driving style and other factors, such as speed, outside temperature, topography and the use of electricity-consuming devices/ units, have an influence on the real-life range and can possibly reduce it.
(4) 7-year warranty
Kia warranty covers a period of 7 years from initial registration or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Deviations according to the valid guarantee conditions, e.g. for battery, paint and equipment, subject to local terms and conditions. For full Kia warranty terms and exclusions click here.
Kia high voltage lithium ion battery-units in electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) are built to have a long life. These batteries are covered by the Kia warranty for a period of 7 years from initial registration or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first (8 years/100,000 miles for EV models registered from 01/01/2024). For low voltage batteries (48V and 12V) in mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV), the Kia warranty covers a period of 2 years from initial registration regardless of mileage. For EVs and PHEVs only, Kia guarantees a 70% capacity of the battery. Capacity reduction for the battery in HEV and MHEV is not covered by the warranty. Cars registered up to 31/12/2023: The Lithium-Ion Polymer Battery warranty covers a minimum capacity for a period is 84 months or 100,000 miles from the date of first registration, whichever comes first. Cars registered from 01/01/2024: The Lithium-Ion Polymer Battery warranty covers a minimum capacity for a period is 96 months (84 months for PHEV) or 100,000 miles from the date of first registration, whichever comes first. (5) Kia Connect Services
Kia Connect Services are provided by Kia Connect GmbH, registered under the registration number HRB 112541, Theodor-Heuss-Allee 11, 60486 Frankfurt am Main.
(6) Free 7-year Kia Connect services
The Services are provided free of charge for a period of 7 years commencing on the day the vehicle is sold to the first owner of the vehicle, i.e. the point in time the initial purchase agreement becomes effective. We reserve the right to propose additional services in the future subject to separate terms of use. (7) Over-the-Air updates
For new vehicles sold from May 2021 and that have OTA-enabled navigation software, Kia offers, per vehicle, two free-of-charge updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software using the so-called “over-the-air” method (“OTA Updates”). Once the two free-of-charge OTA Updates have been consumed, you will be able to get updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software only (i) by accessing the following web page https://update.kia.com/EU/E1/Main.

The use of assistance and safety systems does not release the driver from the obligation to constantly monitor traffic and control the vehicle.
Drivers must still adapt their driving behavior to their personal driving skills, the legal regulations and the general road and traffic conditions.
