Enjoy Seven-Seat Luxury, with the all-new Sorento Hybrid

The all-new Sorento offers exceptional comfort and refinement and is packed with Kia’s most advanced technology, including a newly developed fuel-saving hybrid powertrain.

The seven-seat, all-new Sorento – the largest SUV in the Kia range – sets new standards for style, comfort and refinement, as well as boasting the latest advanced technology. With its brand new engine options it offers competitive running costs too.

Powerful & Efficient

The all-new Sorento is now available with a new, advanced hybrid powertrain that offers brisk performance with low emissions and excellent fuel economy. That means lower VED, less money spent on BIK tax, and a smaller fuel bill for you and your fleet. It combines a turbocharged 1.6-litre T-GDi petrol engine with a 44.2kW electric motor and a 1.49kWh battery pack – making an impressive power output of 226bhp. And, unlike many hybrids, the all-new Sorento can tow a braked trailer of up to 1,650kg.

There’s also a new 2.2-litre CRDi diesel engine, which can reach 60mph in just 9.1 seconds – thanks to its 199bhp – and achieves 42.2mpg on the combined WLTP economy cycle.

A plug-in hybrid variant will arrive in 2021 offering notable BIK tax savings and lower running costs.

strong residual values and lower taxation

Impressively Refined & Remarkably Comfortable

For many company car drivers, their vehicle can be their office, so it’s important that it’s quiet and peaceful. The all-new Sorento’s shape has been designed to eliminate wind noise, meanwhile, a stiffer body and liberal use of sound absorbing materials to make the all-new Sorento whisper quiet on the inside. That’s perfect for when you need to take an important hands-free call on the road. Every Sorento comes with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel and when things start getting a little warm, the ventilated seats can keep things cool. It’s all about keeping you comfortable, so you arrive at that meeting feeling focused and refreshed.

Convenient Technology

To help make driving as easy and relaxing as possible, the all-new Sorento is brimming with intelligent technologies. Long journeys are effortless thanks to Highway Driving Assist (HDA), which controls the vehicle’s steering, acceleration and braking to maintain the speed you set while keeping a safe distance from the vehicle in front. Every Sorento also comes with a new 12.3-inch high-resolution digital instrument cluster, which delivers a wealth of useful information on a crystal-clear display.

Certain grades include the useful UVO Connect telematics system, which gives you up-to-the-minute traffic information, local petrol prices, and parking costs and availability. You can also send planned routes from your phone and even retrieve trip information, which is especially handy for keeping track of business mileage.

Naturally your phone is a vital business tool so, to make sure you and your passengers don’t run out of charge, there’s a wireless phone charger as well as USB charge point ports for all three rows, Android Auto ™ and Apple CarPlay ™ and a multi device Bluetooth ® connection and voice recognition

Also available is a head-up display that projects vital information – such as speed and navigation instructions – onto the base of the windscreen in the driver’s line of sight, so you can keep your eyes on the road.

Keeping You Safe

Every Sorento comes with a huge suite of advanced safety technologies to help protect you and your car. For example, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA) with city, pedestrian, cyclist and junction detection, uses the front camera and radar to detect upcoming hazards, and will apply the brakes if necessary.

Depending on the grade, there’s also Blind-spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA), which helps the driver avoid collisions when changing lanes. Perhaps more impressive though is the Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM), which displays a high-resolution video feed in the driver’s instrument cluster. There’s also a Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA) system that prevents you from colliding with pedestrians or other obstacles when entering or leaving a parking spot.

Multi-Collision Brake Assist (MCBA) is a new innovation for the all-new Sorento. If your airbags fire because of a collision, the vehicle automatically applies the brakes to help avoid a subsequent collision. Ecall is also new, and automatically summons the emergency services in the event of an accident.

To help keep your speed in check, you can activate the Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA), which uses a camera to read speed limit signs, and displays them beside the speedometer and on the navigation screen.

Driver Attention Warning (DAW) tracks how focused you are while driving and will recommend taking a break if your driving drops below a certain standard.
