Sportier and bolder than ever.
The Kia Ceed sports new front styling incorporating a unique signature tiger nose grille with a floating wing themed lower garnish in satin chrome. Featuring a new front light signature with full LED headlamps and LED foglamps. With details like the horizontal air blade garnishes, and newly designed triangular air curtain side garnishes to complement the sportier stance of the new front bumper.
The sporty sophistication continues at the rear too, with new and dedicated taillights showcasing an intense rear light signature with 48 honeycomb style LEDs and a new diffuser design in glossy black, decorated with a one piece satin chrome garnish. The rear LEDs also feature sequential turning signals.
Inside the refined cabin, everything is designed around the driver. From the seamless, soft-touch surface layout of the cockpit to the endless smart technologies that connect you to the car and the outside world. With black suede and leather sports seats featuring grey stitching, superior black roof lining, a sporty steering wheel with GT-line badging, a perforated leather gear-knob, and much more.
The Kia Ceed’s hatchback body style makes it compact enough for easy maneovring and parking, yet with a surprising amount of space for passengers and cargo. And it has a look-at-me attitude too, with confident design details like its glossy black side mirror, expressive side sill, and newly designed diamond cut 17” alloy wheels that are as striking in motion and they are when stationary.

Connect to the world around you in real time, with live data to keep you seamlessly informed and assisted throughout every drive – such as online navigation with up-to-the-minute traffic updates, powered by Kia Connect services 1, 9 . And thanks to online voice recognition you can also use voice commands to search for a specific address or nearby Point of Interest (POI).

With the Kia Connect App 2 you can find out remotely if your vehicle’s doors are locked or where you parked your car. It also allows you to check your Ceed Sportswagon´s settings, change them remotely, and apply the modified settings to the vehicle. And as a final touch, the app on your smartphone can guide the way by foot to your final destination after you parked your car thanks to the Last Mile Navigation feature.

Highway Driving Assist (HDA) helps the Ceed to maintain a safe distance to the vehicle ahead and keeps it centered within its current lane on motorways. At the same time, it controls steering, acceleration and deceleration whilst you are in lane. Used together with this system, the Curve function (NSCC-C) uses navigation data to recognise an upcoming curve on the road, when necessary, reducing the cruising speed, and, upon exiting the curve, resuming the pre-set speed.
SCC 5 aims to maintain the speed specified by you, the driver, and computes the relative position and speed of the vehicle ahead using its front view camera and front radar to keep a safe distance. The system controls acceleration and deceleration to make sure your Kia Ceed keeps always the safety distance from the vehicle ahead. Your Kia Ceed stops when the other vehicle ahead stops. When the vehicle ahead starts moving again, you will automatically start moving as well.
The Lane Following Assist (LFA) 6 system utilizes the windshield camera in order to monitor lane markings or the leading vehicle to make sure your Ceed remains centred in your lane. Available for all models with an MT and DCT gearbox.
The Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) system uses its windshield camera and rear corner radars to monitor the relative position and speed of other vehicles to the side or in your blind-spot zone. If it identifies a potential collision with other vehicles, the system will activate visual and audible alarms and may also automatically intervene to keep you in your current lane and avoid any potential collisions.
When reversing out of a parking space or driveway, the radar-based Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance (RCCA) system warns you with visual and audible alarms to potential approaching traffic crossing your path and engage to avoid a potential collision if necessary.
The system notices if you’re losing concentration by monitoring the pattern of the steering wheel, acceleration and overall length of the journey. If your attention level seems low, it alerts you both visually and audibly. Driver Attention Warning + (DAW+) also features a leading vehicle departure warning system that will alert you too if, for example, when in traffic, the car in front of you drives away and you don’t move.

By cleverly pairing a Smartstream 1.5 liter Turbo 160 PS petrol engine with a 48-volt lithium-ion battery, Kia’s mild hybrid system in ProCeed can reduce fuel consumption and vehicle emission levels. What’s more, the integrated ‘e-system’ recovers kinetic energy during deceleration phases to provide torque assistance when accelerating.

Low-emission driving can bring you tax, cost and access benefits. Some European governments support mild hybrid cars with tax rebates and purchase grants. And in many cities mild hybrids are allowed to drive in low-emission zones: that means you can drive where others can’t.
Battery power helps the engine work more quietly, adding torque and using less fuel. The engine is started by the ‘e-system’ to ensure a prompt and smooth start. During acceleration or uphill driving, the ‘e-system’ provides torque assistance by taking energy from the battery. When cruising at constant speed, the combustion engine partially recharges the battery if the charge level is low.
Mild hybrid technology lowers fuel costs and emissions with no extra effort to you! On models with iMT 6, when you lift your foot from the throttle and let the car coast the engine switches off, resulting in fuel savings. When decelerating or braking, the energy generated by the vehicle motion recharges the battery. When decelerating to a stop, the combustion engine turns off automatically to save fuel.

Engine-off coasting is available only on vehicles equipped with Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT). The coasting function depends on the actual driving conditions.

The program is only valid for new Kia vehicles purchased after February 28, 2013 with factory installed LG navigation devices. Labour costs may be incurred at the service point for the time available to perform the update. The 7-year map update program offers six map updates, as Kia vehicles are already shipped ex works with the latest map available. The warranty of the navigation system is not affected by this program. Kia is not responsible for the quality of the card data supplied by the card data supplier HERE.
For new vehicles sold from May 2021, Kia offers, per vehicle, two free-of-charge updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software using the so-called “over-the-air” method (“OTA Updates”). Once the two free-of-charge OTA Updates have been consumed, you will be able to get free-of-charge updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software only (i) by accessing the following web page https://update.kia.com/EU/E1/Main or (ii) at a dealership.
