2. Download the myQ app: If you are new to myQ, download the myQ mobile app on your mobile device, create an account and sign in.
3. Link Kia Connect to your myQ account: Link your Kia Connect account to your myQ account through the Kia Access App. In the Kia Connect Store, initiate the free trial/purchase and follow the linking steps.
4. Connect your Kia vehicle to your garage door: In the Kia Access App, follow the steps to connect your Kia vehicle to your myQ-enabled garage door. Make sure your garage door devices are fully controllable via the myQ mobile app before completing the connection process through Kia's touchscreen display.
5. Verify connection: Be sure your vehicle is parked safely either inside or outside of your garage before beginning and ensure there are no garage door obstructions. Once linked, you’ll be able to control and monitor your garage door through your Kia’s touchscreen display.

To set up Geofencing Mode in your vehicle, follow these steps:

1. Ensure Kia Connect and myQ are activated: Make sure both your Kia Connect account and myQ Connected Garage are active and linked.
2. Access your Kia vehicle’s touchscreen display: Navigate to the Kia Connect menu and select the myQ Connected Garage option.
3. Enable Geofencing Mode: Navigate to the Connected Garage > Garage Door settings in your Kia vehicle’s touchscreen display and toggle the feature on. Set your home or garage location from your vehicle while parked in your garage.
