(2) WLTP testing
The Kia e-Soul's values have been tested in the new WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light vehicle Test Procedure) test cycle.
(3) Charging times
64 kWh battery/150 kW motor: fast charge in 42 minutes with a fast charger from 80 kW and above (from 20 to 80%) / normal charge in 9.5 hours (up to 100%). 39.2 kWh battery/100 kW motor: fast charge in 42 minutes with a fast charger from 50 kW and above (from 20 to 80%) / normal charge in 6.5 hours (up to 100%).

(5) 7-year warranty
Kia warranty covers a period of 7 years from initial registration or 150,000 km, whichever comes first. Deviations according to the valid guarantee conditions, e.g. for battery, paint and equipment, subject to local terms and conditions. Find more information about Kia warranty at [www.Kia.com ]
(6) 7-year battery warranty
Kia high voltage lithium ion battery-units in electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) are built to have a long life. These batteries are covered by the KIA warranty for a period of 7 years from initial registration or 150,000 km, whichever comes first. For low voltage batteries (48V and 12V) in mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV), the Kia warranty covers a period of 2 years from initial registration regardless of mileage. For EVs only, Kia guarantees a 65% capacity of the battery. Capacity reduction of the battery in PHEV, HEV and MHEV is not covered by the warranty. (7) Speed values
The Kia e-Soul with the 64 kWh battery achieves 0-100 km/h in 7.6 seconds and has a top speed of 167 km/h. When selected with the 39.2 kWh battery, 0-100 km/h acceleration is 9.7 seconds with a top speed of 156 km/h.
(8) DRIVE WiSE technologies
DRIVE WiSE technologies are assistance systems and do not relieve the driver from his/her responsibility to safely operate the vehicle at any time. The driver still has to adapt his/her driving behaviour to his/her personal driving capabilities, to the legal requirements and to the overall road and traffic conditions. DRIVE WiSE technologies are not designed to drive the vehicle autonomously. For further information, please refer to the owner’s manual.
(9) Clari-Fi™ technology
The Harman Kardon® sound system comes with Clari-Fi™ technology. Digital information gets lost when compressing files into MP3. Clari-Fi™ technology helps to correct the lost high/low music tones and improves the music quality level.
(10) 7-year map update
The programme is only valid for new Kia vehicles purchased after February 28, 2013 with factory installed LG navigation devices. Labour costs may be incurred at the service point for the time available to perform the update. The 7-year map update programme offers six map updates, as Kia vehicles are already shipped ex works with the latest map available. The warranty of the navigation system is not affected by this programme. Kia is not responsible for the quality of the card data supplied by the card data supplier HERE.
(11) Kia's Connected Services powered by TomTom Live Services
The services are free for 7 years after the first connection of navigation to the mobile network. If the first connection does not take place immediately after purchase, the duration is reduced by the time between purchase and first connection. Smartphone with data plan required to activate services.
(12) TomTom Speed Camera Service
Most governments and local authorities agree that the TomTom Speed Camera Service makes driving safer. TomTom complies with local legislation and, where necessary, adapts its practices.
(13) Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™
The Kia e-Soul is compatible with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Android Auto™ is designed to work with Android phones running 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher. Apple CarPlay™ is available for iPhone 5 or newer models. Both systems feature voice control and allow the driver to keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road ahead at all times. Apple CarPlay™ is a trademark of Apple Inc. Android Auto™ and other marks are trademarks of Google Inc.
(14) Infotainment Software
Images and functionalities of the infotainment system described are available from late 2020; for older units with Kia Connect, a software update will be available at the dealer.
