Tyre Labelling Information

For information regarding the Tyre Labelling Regulation for passenger cars that became effective November 2012 under European Regulation (EC) No. 1222/2009 please refer to the information below.
1) Fuel Efficiency Grade
Tyres with low rolling resistance save fuel and cut CO2 emissions. A-Grade tyres deliver the best fuel efficiency, with each subsequent grade through to G signalling an increase in fuel consumption
2) Wet Grip Grade
Grip in wet conditions is a key for safe driving. Performance of the tyre in the wet is graded from A (best grip) to G (worst grip).
3) External Rolling Noise Grade
This is the external noise made by the tyre and is measured in decibels. The more waves shown on the label, the louder the tyres.
