THE NEW KIA E-NIRO

MEET THE ALL-ELECTRIC CROSSOVER THAT HAS IT ALL

Kia’s first fully-electric crossover utility vehicle is set to become one of the most appealing electric cars on the road – delivering a never-before-seen combination of cool crossover design, space, practicality, and advanced powertrains that offer owners a long-distance range of up to 485 kilometres on a single charge. Demonstrating that zero-emissions driving really can excel in every discipline.

IMPRESSIVE RANGE OF UP TO 485 KM

Equipped with a high-capacity 64 kWh lithium-polymer battery pack, applying a next-generation electric vehicle powertrain and utilising new production technologies developed specifically for Kia Electric Vehicles, the fully-electric new Kia e-Niro provides a driving range of up to 485 km for combined city and long-distance driving – and a homologated range of 615 km when driving purely on urban roads. This gives owners the enticing prospect of completing both long distance drives and daily commutes with zero emissions and ultra-low running costs – making it a convincing alternative to compact crossovers powered by traditional gasoline or diesel internal combustion engines.

STRIKING, AERODYNAMIC DESIGN

Inspired by the 2018 Niro EV Concept, the fully-electric new Kia e-Niro incorporates the practicality and appeal of a crossover in a sleek, aerodynamic body with subtly sculptured surfaces. It boasts a series of exclusive design features including a unique, diamond-shaped ‘tiger-nose’ grille that is “closed” for enhanced aerodynamics, and has an integrated charging port. Alongside redesigned air intakes and new arrowhead-shaped LED daytime running lights combined with light-blue trim. The sleek elongated profile is enhanced by new five-spoke 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels with a diamond-cut two-tone finish while, at the back, a bold new LED rear light design gives the e-Niro a distinct rear light signature.

MODERN CABIN WITH EXCLUSIVE EV TECHNOLOGIES

The e-Niro cabin combines a modern design with generous space and technologies that complement its zero-emissions powertrain. The dashboard features new bright blue trim, echoing that of the exterior, while the 8.0-inch touchscreen HMI (human-machine interface) offers a series of EV-specific features, enabling owners to locate nearby charging points and monitor the level of charge and range remaining from the battery. Occupants will also enjoy generous legroom courtesy of its crossover design. And at 4,375 mm in length, it also offers more cargo space – 451 litres (VDA) – than many other plug-in and electric vehicles.

IMPRESSIVE INNOVATION IN EVERY DETAIL

Owners can also look forward to a range of innovative, energy-harvesting technologies dedicated to enhancing battery efficiency and improving the car’s range, including regenerative braking, Coasting Guide Control (CGC), and Predictive Energy Control (PEC). In addition Kia’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, supporting motorists in a range of driving conditions and scenarios to mitigate the risk of collisions – including Kia Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) as standard.
