AFTER SALES FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Stay at home. All of our dealerships are now closed to the general public until the government restrictions are lifted. The large majority are available on call for emergency work. However, these dealerships will prioritise essential repair work and servicing to support frontline key workers.

No, your Kia Care service plan will remain valid and cover the cost of your services regardless of when they are undertaken.

Your car should be maintained and serviced according to the manufacturer’s guidelines and recommendations to ensure your warranty remains intact. However, if there is a valid warranty claim on your car and the latest scheduled service has been delayed during the period where Ireland is under Government measures, we will honour valid warranty claims. Please note all other warranty Terms and Exclusions apply.

It is important you maintain your car regardless of servicing requirements. We recommend that you regularly check the following items: • Engine oil level • Coolant level • Windscreen washer fluid level • Tyre condition and pressures, including spare if fitted • Exterior lights Please refer to your owner’s manual for more information. If your service is delayed, it is even more important that you regularly carry out the checks detailed above until the scheduled service is carried out, paying particular attention to the oil level. Should you require oil to top up your engine, please refer to the link below to ensure you obtain the correct oil for your car. It is very important that you use the correct oil for any required topping up.

Stay at home. The RSA have confirmed that the National Car Testing Service (NCT) is suspended until further notice with immediate effect. This is in order to comply with the new public restrictions to tackle the spread of the Coronavirus.

If there is a valid warranty claim on your car but the repair could not be completed before the warranty expired because of current Government measures, we will be flexible and honour valid warranty claims. Please note all other warranty Terms and Exclusions apply.

Kia Assist is operating for customers who have cover. This programme is run in partnership with the AA. The Kia Assist Breakdown number is 0818 300 007. Please note AA policies and working practices apply during this period – you will be advised of any restrictions when contacting the Breakdown Service for assistance.

With dealerships and car hire companies closed, we cannot guarantee the provision of another car. Our first priority will be to assist key workers where there is no access to another vehicle.
