President & CEO

"At Kia Europe, ethics and integrity are the foundation of our business. We developed the Kia Compliance & Integrity Code to outline the values we live by and ensure that we always hold ourselves to the highest standards.
At the heart of this commitment is our employees, and we extend these expectations to our business partners. By working together and staying true to our principles, we can build trust, respect, and lasting success."
Compliance and integrity are about making
the right choice in any given situation.
Our behavior is the key for a culture of compliance
that promotes the honest and ethical conduct
of our business. Such conduct is beneficial
for our customers, the global community,
Kia and its employees.
A culture of compliance
helps us to fulfill our moral and legal obligations
as global corporate citizens.
In our company, the Compliance Management System (CMS) covers different stages of compliance efforts, from setting the rules of conduct to monitoring and identifying areas of improvement.
Our CMS is not just a one-time achievement, but a cycle of repeated efforts of all employees from top to bottom.
We believe that ethical, compliant and sustainable behavior and processes constitute the foundation of Kia’s success story globally and in Europe.
To achieve a culture of compliance, we guide our employees to do the right thing at all times − and this is what the Kia Compliance & Integrity Code is for. The code complements Kia Corporation’s code of ethics, focusing on the European market.
Please note that Kia Europe has a separate code of conduct for its suppliers, independent distributors and other business partners (see below).
Based on the general framework of the Kia Compliance & Integrity Code, Kia provides further guidance on compliance principles in its internal policies.
These policies include Competition Law, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Whistleblower Protection (e.g., non-retaliation), Data Protection, Conflict Of Interest and Anti-Money Laundering policies.
Kia is constantly monitoring the developments in compliance areas and revising and supplementing its compliance guidance.
Kia promotes honest and ethical behavior not only in its own companies, but also among its business partners. To share our expectations from business partners for integrity and ethical behaviour, we have established a Business Partner and Supplier Code of Conduct (“BPS CoC”).
The BPS CoC below applies to all business partners and suppliers of Kia Europe. For business partners and suppliers of other Kia entities in Europe, local BPS CoC versions are available.
