Tyre Labelling Information
For information regarding the Tyre Labelling Regulation for passenger cars that became effective November 2012 under European Regulation (EC) No. 1222/2009 please refer to the information below.- 1) Fuel Efficiency Grade
- Tyres with low rolling resistance save fuel and cut CO2 emissions. A-Grade tyres deliver the best fuel efficiency, with each subsequent grade through to G signalling an increase in fuel consumption.
- 2) Wet Grip Grade
- Grip in wet conditions is a key for safe driving. Performance of the tyre in the wet is graded from A (best grip) to G (worst grip).
- 3) External Rolling Noise Grade
- This is the external noise made by the tyre and is measured in decibels. The more waves shown on the label, the louder the tyres.
